Foundation
Foundation Sessions and Duration:
Discovery Call (45 min.): Our journey begins by getting to know each other. We will meet (virtually) so we can both align on if we are a good fit to work with each other. We will discuss at high level what inspired this change in your life and the vision you see for yourself. We will go over logistics, the individual roles we play in this potential partnership, and I will answer any questions you may have, as well.
Weekly Sessions, 60 min (16 sessions/4 months): Following the discovery session, I will put together a draft of a customized four-month program consisting of weekly sessions, each lasting 60 minutes. These sessions are designed to understand what is holding you back in certain areas of life you would like to improve. The program is in draft form so we have the freedom to collaborate on and shift topics as we continue to get to know each other and uncover your specific needs. This program is meant to be fluid and has shown the best results this way.
Two Home Visits (Time TBD): Separate from our weekly sessions, we will schedule two home visits. The first visit will allow us to explore and enhance your home environment for a space of healing, and discuss the potential impact it has on your well-being. This usually takes 2-4 hours, yet is not limited to that time. We will take the time we need to. The second visit will be an energy cleansing which we will discuss more in-depth when that time arises. This will typically take me a day to facilitate. You are welcome to be present if you’d like.
Two Post-Program Progress Check-Ins (60 min.) : After completing your sessions and home visits, I’ll continue to support your growth and the integration process. We will have two post program check-in sessions at 30 and 60 days. These are 60 min. sessions to see how your ongoing journey is going and provide guidance as needed. There will be much to celebrate and reflect on during this time so will allow you to lead where each session will go.
Bonus Session (45 min.): Each client has one additional session they can use at their discretion. If you find yourself in a challenging situation in which you need acute support, or if you are excited about a breakthrough and want to explore more on the topic, this session is simply for you.
Ongoing Support: Throughout our time together you can reach me through email and I will respond within’ 24 hours unless prior commitments require my full attention, or I am out of cellular service. If you do not have access to email, I will work with you to potentially find different options.
These sessions are carefully structured to support your understanding of holistic development and empower you to navigate life with greater authenticity and resilience. If you have any further questions or would like to discuss the specifics of this package, please feel free to reach out.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Metta?
Metta is a Pali word that is often described as lovingkindness, friendliness, goodwill, benevolence, fellowship, inoffensiveness, or nonviolence. It encompasses a multitude of meanings, each influenced by an individual’s unique understanding. I view Metta much in the same light, yet it’s crucial to recognize that it’s not solely about embodying these qualities. It also entails a profound understanding that genuine happiness resides within each of us.
In essence, Metta is a practice that encourages us to cultivate not only kindness and compassion but also the awareness that true happiness is an inner journey. It’s about fostering a sense of goodwill and harmony within ourselves and extending it outward to others, recognizing the interconnectedness of all beings.
What is your role as a guide and mentor?
My role as a wisdom guide and mentor (often referred to as a coach) is to remind you of the incredible human you are and spark the magic that already lives within you. This revolves around me showing you how our inner world significantly influences our external experiences. Through a holistic communication approach, I help individuals see the beauty in the polarity of life and how to navigate it in their own unique way.
I take a secular approach that embraces and respects spiritual dimensions rooted in the mindfulness and compassion training inspired by Buddhism. This approach draws from profound wisdom teachings that deepen my clients’ understanding of themselves and how they engage with the world around them.
It’s crucial to differentiate mentorship from therapy. I am not a therapist. While we recognize that our perception of the world is rooted in our unique past, we often identify where reactivity stems from yet I do not see the need to dissect them. Our primary focus remains firmly anchored in the present moment as we navigate through life as the individuals we are today.
Mentorship may be an unfamiliar concept to some, yet in life, we all encounter moments when we require guidance. This is much like a world-class athlete who seeks a mindset coach. We all benefit from the support of a community, the wisdom that only comes from lived experience, enthusiastic encouragement, objective perspectives, and insights to our reality. This will unveil hidden layers of learning that may elude our sight, ultimately leading to greater success and inner peace in our lives.
Are you certified?
Yes, I hold certifications as a Certified Mindfulness Coach and a Certified Coach of Emotional Intelligence. My training includes completion of accredited programs from both the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the Certified Coaches Alliance (CCA) at The Coach Training Academy.
Furthermore, I’m currently in the process of obtaining my Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification from the Awareness Training Institute, in collaboration with The Greater Good Science Center located at the University of California, Berkeley. This program is led by my incredible teachers, Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield from Spirit Rock Meditation Center.
I am trained in meditation practices for body, mind, and community. I have learned skills that apply mindfulness and self-compassion to relationships, conflict, trauma, organizational wisdom, and societal change. I love leading groups and teaching a wide range of mindfulness practitioners with cultural sensitivity top of mind.
I am always learning and often share experiences with community to deepen my own spiritual practice. My commitment to professional development ensures that I provide the highest quality guidance to all the humans I serve.
Are sessions virtual or in person?
I have clients from all over so for majority of my coaching sessions are done virtually. Home visits are done in person.
For those who are in transitional living or sober living facilities, the approach is unique to each situation.
What will I walk away learning?
It’s important to recognize that what you’ll learn is tied to your openness and commitment to getting to know yourself. I cannot guarantee specific outcomes because this journey is not a quick fix and uniquely yours. It requires patience, determination, emotional resilience, and a profound commitment to changing your life and understanding how you’ve been conditioned to perceive the world. While I can’t do this work for you, I’m here to provide unwavering support and guidance every step of the way. I am here to remind you of the incredible human you are and spark the magic that already lives within you.
Here are some common areas of focus during our work together:
– Understanding non-violent communication and its impact on both internal and external interactions.
– Developing the skill to differentiate between facts and stories, guided by an understanding of how the brain functions.
– Establishing clear and healthy boundaries in both personal and professional settings.
– Gaining insight into the reactive brain and cultivating self-regulation skills.
– Exploring comprehensive shadow work.
– Breaking free from patterns of self-sabotage.
– Articulating your needs powerfully while creating space to understand the needs of others.
– Navigating conflicts effectively.
– Recognizing, acknowledging, and shedding unconscious biases and limiting beliefs about yourself and others.
– Practicing leadership, both in self-leadership and effectively leading others.
– Enhancing teamwork by strengthening dynamics, communication, and rapport.
– Developing human skills and emotional intelligence.
– Evolving the environments you can control to support your healing process.
Again, the depth of your learning is going to meet you where you are at when it comes to being open to understanding yourself. Confronting attachments to your identity will bring forward the truth, which can be very challenging to accept. This process will spark frustration, can be scary, and painful – yet together, we learn to understand why we are conditioned to see the world the way we do, and work through being the change together.
How long do I need a wisdom guide and mentor?
The minimum commitment is a 4 month program, ensuring that we have ample time to work together, practice new behaviors, and implement the skills you’ll acquire. After your initial 12 weeks, the decision to continue is entirely up to you.
The most common duration for my clients is a 6-month program. After completing the program, depending on your specific needs, we may then adjust our sessions to bi-monthly, monthly, every six weeks, or every other month to provide ongoing support and progress check-ins as required. My recommendation would be to assess your needs individually after completing your initial series of sessions.
The duration of my mentorship is flexible and designed to adapt to your unique journey towards personal growth and transformation.
What is the comprehensive intake session and is it counted as a session?
No, the comprehensive intake session is not considered a paid session. It serves as an essential initial meeting where we can get to know each other before making the commitment to embark on this transformative journey together. During this session, we will discuss logistics, clarify our roles in our partnership, and provide space for any questions and concerns that arise. This session is designed to ensure that our collaboration needs and expectations align.
Do you work with groups?
Absolutely. Please feel free to inquire below, and I would be delighted to provide you with more information about my group and workshop offerings. Group sessions can be a powerful way to explore and cultivate a culture of holistic communication, self-awareness, and emotional well-being in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Coaching is expensive. Do you have payment plan options?
Absolutely. I understand that coaching is an investment in yourself, and I want to make it accessible to as many people as possible. Payment plans, low-income options, and scholarship opportunities are available for those who qualify.
What work do you do with animals?
I primarily work with dogs, cats, and horses, along with their human companions, who are experiencing challenging relationships that impact a harmonious relationship. Together, we address behavioral issues such as aggression, fear, and anxiety, fostering trust and understanding for both the animal and their human.
It’s important to note that unlike my virtual mentor sessions, these animal-focused sessions are conducted in person. If you have specific concerns or questions about your pet, please don’t hesitate to reach out, and we can explore how I can assist you and your ani-pals.
Do you offer coaching without the home visits or vice-versa?
Yes! Please apply and leave a note in the comment box – we will connect on this topic then.
90 minutes is a long time for a session. Why so long?
You will be surprised how quickly 90 minutes will go! The additional time we spend together provides more opportunity to talk through topics as well as practice skills we are building together.
